"Tonight's anonymous guest-"

"Oh, it's alright to say who I am. Mosta them out there probably know my voice already, heh."

"Maybe, but it's a matter of principle to uphold the privacy of everyone we interview."

"Well, sure. Alright."

"Could you tell us about your encounter?"

"Well, it would be my pleasure. I had just settled my work for the day and was walkin' down the steps of city hall, when all of - oh, privacy, heh. Woops."

"It's alright. What happened next?"

"But - you know - here's the oddest part of the whole thing, why I kept mulling it over. The thing's face - well, it looked just like this woman I once met."

"Really? Can you tell us anything about this woman?"

"Last July, I had my own float in the parade as part of campaigning for office. She came up to me at the end of the parade."

"Did she say anything to you?"

"Well, sure! People walk up and talk to me all the time. It's part of being a public figure, and I'm always happy to chat. If I remember rightly, she was worried about some construction we were doing in one of the forestry centers. Didn't want to get sick, she said. Wanted me to help her out."

"She lived nearby?

"She must've! You know, some people get mighty upset when they hear we're choppin' trees anywhere. It's regrettable, of course, but sometimes you gotta clear away the old to build somethin' new. That's the price of progress."

"And did you?"

"Did I - wha - ?"

"Did you help that woman once you were sworn in? What happened to her?"

"..."

"...Do you know what happened to her?"

"..."

"...Thank you for sharing your paranormal encounter with us tonight."

"Oh, please. The pleasure is all mine."
